Here is the Part 2 of our 14 Days Japan Itinerary. Please click the link below for Part 1.😉
14 Days Japan Travel Itinerary Part 1
Day 8 -Wisteria and Kurume Ramen
For our Day 8 Itinerary, we went to Fukuoka for Kawachi Wisteria Garden and Kurume Ramen. It happened that our travel dates fall on the full bloom of Wisterias which is mid April to late May so we include this in our Itinerary. Fukuoka is a 3.5 hour train ride from Osaka (travel time depends on the type of train that you will reserve). It's a long travel time, but we didn't mind because Shinkansen has comfortable seats and we are asleep the whole train ride. 😆
Day 9 - Travelling to Tokyo and Going to Robot restaurant
Time to leave Osaka and head to Tokyo to experience the city vibe. Time flies when you're having fun! We traveled to Tokyo by Shinkansen and we are lucky that we are seated on Mt Fuji view even though we forgot to request for it. 😄 You can request for Mt Fuji view when you book reserved seat tickets.
We
reach Tokyo around 1pm and head to our AIRBNB accommodation which is
along the JR Yamanote line. We rest for a while and explore Shinjuku. We
went to the popular Robot Restaurant and experience a weird, crazy
night.
Day 10 - Aomori
Day 10 Itinerary is dedicated to catching a glimpse of the lovely Sakura flowers. We booked our flight tickets with the thoughts in our mind that we can still see Sakura in Osaka or Tokyo even though it was already late April. Sadly, full bloom in Osaka and Tokyo happened late March to early April. But we are in Japan, its still spring, we need to see Sakura! Sakura forecast for Aomori is early May. Therefore, we went to Aomori. 😄
We book our reserved seats and travel to Aomori from Tokyo. We went to Hirosaki Park, which is home to 2500 cherry blossom trees. Mt Iwaki can also be viewed from Hirosaki Park.
Day 11 - Mt Fuji and Shibazakura Festival
Mt Fuji is included in our bucket list, but we did not plan to go on trekking. What we only wanted is a very nice view of the mountain. We learned about Shibazakura Festival and saw from their site that Mt Fuji has a good view from there. Shibazakura Festival is about 800,000 moss phlox planted over a vast area which is celebrated mid April to late May. We went to the festival and saw these tiny cute pink flowers covering a huge area of land. There are also other variations of flowers like Muscari and Anemone. Unfortunately, it had been cloudy and we did not catch a clear view of Mt Fuji. It is still a pretty good experience. 😍
Day 12 - Meiji Shrine, Harajuku and Metropolitan Government Building
It's time to explore more areas in Tokyo. We started our day in Meiji Shrine and we had a chance to observe a traditional Shinto wedding.
It's getting dark, so it's time to go to Shibuya! Before taking our shots of Shibuya crossing we head first to Hachiko. 😁
Day 13 - Sushi Daiwa, Asakusa, Sky Tree, and Odaiba
We started our Day 13 Itinerary by having breakfast at Sushi Daiwa. We wanted to queue at Sushi Dai but the queue was very long. We had an omakase set at Sushi Daiwa which cost ¥3750. I enjoyed my first bite of sushi because it is still warm. After that, the chef kept on making the next sushi even though I haven't finish chewing the first piece so the next and succeeding pieces are left seating on my plate and became cold. Overall, it was a good experience but I am not satisfied by how fast they serve the sushi on my plate. After Sushi Daiwa, we head to Asakusa and Sumida Park for a view of Sky Tree.
After Sumida Park, we went to Odaiba. Odaiba is huge and you will find a lot of things to do. We decided to go to Joypolis. Joypolis is an indoor theme park with rides and arcade games. Some of the rides we tried are Half pipe, Transformers Human Alliance Special, Sonic Athletics and Initial D. We also tried Zero Latency VR which is so much fun!

Day 14 - Tokyo Tower, Imperial Garden Palace, Ginza, Akihabara
This is our last day to explore Tokyo. We started our day with the view Tokyo Tower at Zozoji Temple. Good recommendation from one the travelogues we watched. After Tokyo Tower, we head to Imperial Garden Palace and walked to the inner part of the garden.
After Imperial Garden, we head to the upscale shopping street of Ginza. We wanted to eat at Isomura, a kushiage restaurant located at Ginza. They serve fresh meat, fish and vegetables deep fried on a stick. Sadly, they are close when we arrived because their opening hours are 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and resumes at 5pm to 9:30pm. We are starving so we just eat at Yoshinoya. After Ginza, we head to Akihabara and bought Attack on Titan comics. 😁
This is the end of our 14-days Japan Travel Itinerary. We had a wonderful time visiting this awesome country! 14 days is not enough to try everything. We will surely go back soon! 😊

After Meiji Shrine, we walk to Takeshita Street to try Gindaco Takoyaki and Marion Crepes. The crepe is nice, but the takoyaki is average similar to what we tried in Dotonbori. I think I should not expect too much from takoyaki. 😅
After trying street foods in Takeshita Street, our original plan is to go to Shibuya, but we wanted a night shot of Shibuya Crossing so we go first at Tokyo
Metropolitan Government Building Observatory Deck for some nice city
view. The good thing about this is entrance fee is Free!
